Erik ten Hag confirms Man Utd injury blow for Chelsea game
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Anthony Martial won't be fit for Saturday's Premier League clash against Chelsea.
The Frenchman has not featured for the Red Devils since the 2-1 league win at Everton earlier this month where he sustained a hip problem.
Speaking in today's press conference, Ten Hag has now revealed that Martial is back in training, but won't be available for tomorrow's clash.
"Martial? He was on the [training] pitch, but he's not available for tomorrow," He told Manutd.com. "We have to see how it develops in the coming days."
Martial has made just four appearances for the Red Devils this campaign, but he has been very useful with two goals and three assists.
Injuries have disrupted his season under Ten Hag and there is currently an over-reliance on Marcus Rashford to lead the line up front.
Rashford has been fluffing his lines over the past few appearances. He has missed clear-cut scoring chances and needs to step up tomorrow.
