Chelsea remain interested in Marcus Rashford?
Chelsea have revived their interest in signing Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, according to Simon Jones.
The London giants went on a spending spree during the summer transfer window, signing the likes of Raheem Sterling and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to bolster their attack.
However, there is every indication that the Blues will spend again in January following their disappointing start to the Premier League campaign. They are eighth in the standings after 14 games.
According to journalist Simon Jones, Chelsea have not ended their former interest in Rashford and continue to monitor his developments at Old Trafford.
Rashford's current contract expires at the end of the season, but the Red Devils have the option of extending his stay by another 12 months.
While United will trigger the clause, there are still doubts whether the England international will put pen-to-paper on a new long-term deal.
Rashford wants the assurance of a regular starting role in future seasons. If he does not get clarity, he could push for a summer move elsewhere.
