Paris Saint-Germain to monitor Arsenal attacker?
Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly sent scouts to monitor Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli during the ongoing World Cup in Qatar.
The Brazilian has had a superb season with the Gunners in the Premier League and he has been rewarded with a place in the World Cup squad.
It is unlikely that he will be starting games for the Selecao, but there is a good possibility that he could make appearances off the bench.
Amidst this, Foot Mercato report that Les Parisiens are interested in the Gunners ace and will have scouts tracking him at the tournament.
Martinelli has been a revelation for the Gunners over the past year, but the club's hierarchy are not in a hurry to negotiate a new contract.
His current deal expires in the summer of 2024, but the club have the option to keep him for another two seasons through an extension clause.
Hence, there is no urgency from the Gunners side. It would take a substantial bid of around £100m to convince them to sell Martinelli.
