Man Utd handed transfer blow on Victor Osimhen
Manchester United have been handed a blow in signing Napoli striker Victor Osimhen in January.
The Nigerian was heavily linked with the Red Devils during the last transfer window, but they refused to meet Napoli's €120m price tag.
The 23-year-old has been in fine form this term with 10 goals and three assists for Napoli and Fabrizio Romano has now ruled out a January exit.
Speaking to Talk TV, the reputed journalist said that the Red Devils have no chance of landing him this winter with Napoli flying high in Serie A.
The Naples outfit are currently top of the Italian top-flight with an eight-point lead over AC Milan. They are aiming to win the league after 33 years.
With such a prospect, Napoli are unlikely to assess Osimhen's future until the end of the season United have no choice but to wait until then.
Osimhen has also been linked with Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool. He has previously talked up his dream of playing in the Premier League.
