Chelsea keeping tabs on Franck Kessie?
Chelsea are interested in signing Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie in the New Year, according to Sport Mediaset.
Kessie joined Barcelona on a free transfer from AC Milan last summer, but he has since struggled for regular game time.
He is not a guaranteed starter for the Catalan giants and reports claim that he could be on the move at the turn of the year.
Chelsea have been admirers of Kessie from his time at Atalanta and it is claimed that they are weighing up an approach.
Nonetheless, the Ivory Coast international won't come on the cheap for them with Barcelona likely to demand around €40 million.
Arsenal and Manchester United have also been linked with him in the past, but the duo have switched their focus to other targets.
The Gunners have their sights on pursuing Danilo from Palmeiras. United are said to be interested in Real Sociedad's Martin Zubimendi.
Hence, Chelsea have an excellent chance of landing Kessie this winter.
