Cristiano Ronaldo news

Ronaldo wants Chelsea move?

Former Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo is very tempted to join Chelsea on a free transfer in January.

The Portuguese recently made disrespectful comments towards United boss Erik ten Hag and his contract was terminated soon after.

He has since been linked with a mega-money move to Saudi Arabia with Al-Nassr, but Piers Morgan has claimed that he could stay in England.

The 37-year-old has his sights on playing Champions League football again. Daniele Longo reports that he would accept Chelsea's proposal.

The Blues wanted to sign him in the summer. Co-owner Todd Boehly had planned an approach, but manager Thomas Tuchel blocked it.

Tuchel is no longer the club's head coach and we won't be surprised if the Blues offer him a contract following his World Cup campaign.

Arsenal have also been linked with his services, but their recent policy of signing young players suggests that they won't make a move for him.

Ronaldo is prepared to take a huge pay-cut to continue his career in Europe.
