Arsenal agree deal to sign Bundesliga defender
Arsenal have reportedly reached an agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan Ndicka over a free transfer.
The Frenchman has been on the Gunners' radar over the past two years and they have apparently agreed to sign him next summer.
His current deal expires in June next year and Il Romanista claim that the 23-year-old has finalised a pre-contract deal with Arsenal.
Ndicka should be a fantastic acquisition for the Gunners, considering he has a superb aerial presence and likes to make clearances.
The Frenchman does not get into regular tackles but he has impressed with his concentration and awareness in his own box.
Ndicka should be considered as a direct competitor to Gabriel Magalhaes next season as he is also a left-footed centre-back.
Arsenal are currently top of the league with 37 points, five ahead of Manchester City, who are still regarded as title favourites.
For January, the Gunners' prime focus could be on signing a new forward and a midfielder. They are already looking at targets.
