Arsenal are not in the running to sign Atletico Madrid star Joao Felix during the January transfer window.

The Gunners have been tipped to bolster their attack this winter and Felix has been regularly linked over the past few weeks.

However, Gianluca Di Marzio has dismissed their chances of landing him by saying that Felix wants to play for Paris Saint-Germain.

The Italian journalist added that Atletico will demand a staggering €130m which would be over the odds for Mikel Arteta's side.

The Gunners are currently on the search for a versatile forward after the setback for Gabriel Jesus, who picked up a knee injury on World Cup duty.

The Brazilian is out of action for the next three months, and reports claim that the hierarchy will back the manager with funds to fill the void.

Shakhtar Donetsk's Mykhaylo Mudryk seems the priority target for the New Year, but he will also cost plenty with the reported €100m price tag.
