Arsenal need to pay £30m more for Mykhaylo Mudryk
Arsenal will reportedly need to pay £30 million more to sign Shakhtar Donetsk star Mykhaylo Mudryk in the New Year.
The Gunners have identified the Ukrainian as their prime target for January and they have already made an opening bid worth £55m.
The proposal has been swiftly rejected by Shakhtar and The Telegraph now claim that the club want around £85m to sanction his exit.
It is unlikely that the Gunners will meet the transfer figure but they are optimistic that they can convince Shakhtar with lucrative clauses.
Winning the Premier League and qualifying for the Champions League could be included as add-ons as part of the deal to sign Mudryk.
Mudryk is still relatively inexperienced at the high level but his performances in Europe this season have impressed the Gunners.
Newcastle United are also interested in landing the 21-year-old but the winger has his sights on joining Arsenal and no one else.
Shakhtar expect him to be sold at some point of time next month.
