Man Utd set to sign Crystal Palace ace tomorrow

Manchester United are expected to complete the signing of Crystal Palace goalkeeper Jack Butland tomorrow.

The Red Devils recently suffered a blow after Newcastle United opted to recall Martin Dubravka from his loan stint.

The club immediately started the hunt for a replacement and they are now expected to announce Butland's arrival.

The England international has undergone his medical with the club today and a transfer should be announced in the next 24 hours.

Butland has been Crystal Palace's third-choice goalkeeper this season following the arrival of Sam Johnstone on a free transfer.

He will now join the Red Devils on loan for the remainder of the campaign and will be hoping to impress manager Erik ten Hag.

Butland is unlikely to play in the Premier League or Europa League for United where David de Gea is an undisputed starter.

However, he could get valuable minutes in the Cup competitions where Ten Hag has been prepared to rotate his goalkeeper.
