Arsenal scouts monitoring Las Palmas talent Alberto Moleiro
Arsenal are in pursuit of Las Palmas' number 10 attacking midfielder Alberto Moleiro, with a view to signing the 19-year-old on a long-term contract for a fee of close to 25 million euros. Moleiro has been one of the standout talents at the Gran Canaria club, playing in 55 games since his debut in 2021 and catching the eye of numerous top teams across Spain and Europe.
The Gunners have made Mykhaylo Mudryk their primary target for the January transfer window, whilst rumours of a move for Joao Felix persist, should a deal for Ukrainian Mudryk fall through at the last minute. Joao Felix also appears to be a target for Chelsea, as is Mudryk.
However, a last minute deal to sign Alberto Moleiro would surprise many, considering Arsenal are intent on bringing in Mudryk during the January transfer window.
It is understood that Edu was seen meeting representatives of Las Palmas last week at the Emirates Stadium.
Both Aston Villa and Liverpool are monitoring the player's transfer situation closely, with Villa manager Unai Emery known to be an admirer of Moleiro.
