Chelsea pushing to sign French World Cup finalist?
Chelsea are interested in signing Borussia Monchengladbach striker Marcus Thuram despite agreeing to sign Joao Felix on loan.
Felix is set to join the Blues from Atletico Madrid for the rest of the campaign and the Portuguese should boost their creativity.
However, they are also keen on bringing Thuram to Stamford Bridge and talks are underway with the striker and Monchengladbach.
The German outfit are ready to part ways with the French World Cup finalist this month, considering his contract expires in June.
He could be available for around 15 million euros, but the big question is whether Thuram is interested in a move to the Bridge.
His father Lillian played a key part in Chelsea's success many years ago and it remains to be seen whether Thuram joins them.
The Frenchman apparently has the desire to join Manchester United but it does not appear they are keen on landing his services.
The Red Devils are currently prioritising the loan transfer of Wout Weghorst from Championship side Burnley. He could arrive this week.
