Manchester United reach total agreement to sign Dutchman

Wout Weghorst news

Man Utd to land Weghorst soon

Manchester United have reportedly reached a total agreement to sign Burnley striker Wout Weghorst this month.

The Red Devils want to bolster their strike force in the current transfer window and they have now found a solution in Weghorst.

The Dutch striker is currently on loan at Besiktas from Burnley, but the Turkish club have now agreed to compensate his exit.

They will be paid around €3m to release him from the contract, but that will only happen after they find a proper replacement.

Hence, United may have to stay patient for a few more days. Weghorst may not be available for the Manchester derby on Saturday.

The Red Devils have been in superb form in the Premier League lately and they are currently on a four-match winning streak.

They face their toughest challenge yet this weekend when Manchester City make the trip to Old Trafford.

United are considered as potential underdogs for the Manchester derby despite the fact that they are in a fine run of form.
