Arsenal target on his way to Nottingham Forest?
Arsenal target Danilo is close to signing for Nottingham Forest this month, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Gunners were heavily interested in signing the midfielder last summer but Palmeiras were unwilling to do business.
They did not want to lose him midway through the campaign and the Gunners eventually did not sign any midfielder.
Danilo is now free to leave the Brazilian outfit this month, but it appears Arsenal have cooled their interest in him.
The 21-year-old was far from his best during the second half of the year and the Gunners are now looking at other options.
As a result, Forest have taken the lead to sign the Brazilian and they are currently on the verge of securing a deal.
Monaco are also interested in the midfielder's services, but Danilo has the dream of playing in the Premier League.
Forest recently moved out of the relegation spots and will be aiming to stay clear with more signings in the window.
