Man Utd to miss out on Denzel Dumfries?

Manchester United have been handed a potential blow in the pursuit of Denzel Dumfries with Tottenham Hotspur entering the race.

The Dutchman has been a top target for manager Erik ten Hag, but United could now miss out on the opportunity to land him.

The Red Devils have plans of making an approach in the summer, but it seems Spurs have now opened talks over a January deal.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are aware of the interest in their right-back and are prepared to sell him for around €50m.

They have yet to receive any formal offers for the Netherlands star, but reports claim that Spurs have shown a willingness to pay the fee.

The news will come as a huge blow for the Red Devils. The owners are reluctant to spend this month amid the huge payment debts.

There are also planning to sell the club and hence, the manager has been told that he has to adjust to loan signings in the current window.
