Rashford set for new bumper deal?

Manchester United are ready to negotiate a bumper contract with Marcus Rashord, according to Manchester Evening News.

The forward has been in tremendous form in the current campaign and he has amassed 22 goal contributions from only 26 games.

As a result, the club are eager to prolong his stay beyond June 2024 and it is claimed that he could be handed a bumper renewal.

He is currently on around £200,000-a-week and the club are reportedly prepared to double his wages to keep him with them.

Rashford has been on the radar of Paris Saint-Germain since the summer when his brother was in discussions with the French outfit.

Nothing materialised in the form of a transfer but the French giants could make their move if Rashford declines to pen an extension.

As things stand, it looks more likely that the United graduate will commit his future to the club by signing a new long-term contract.

Rashford has scored in each of his last six appearances for United.
