Scott McTominay open to joining Newcastle United?
Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay has opened the door to join Newcastle United, according to The Telegraph.
The Scotland international started the season as a regular in the centre of the park, but he has lost his place over the past few months.
Casemiro is currently the regular choice in the number six role and he has been partnered by Fred and Christian Eriksen in midfield.
It is now reported that McTominay is frustrated over his limited game time under Erik ten Hag and is open to moving on soon.
The Magpies have been long-term admirers of him and are now a lucrative target as they are also challenging for the top four.
The big question is whether they can lure him this month. United may not want to strengthen a direct Champions League rival this term.
The Magpies have gone head-to-head with United this campaign and they are currently third ahead of the Red Devils on goal difference.
