Everton boss Frank Lampard on the verge of sack?
Everton's board appear to have lost patience with Frank Lampard, as the former Chelsea man looks set to be given the axe at Goodison Park. It is understood that Lampard may not even keep his job ahead of this weekend's crucial game against West Ham.
The Toffees' form under Lampard has been nothing short of dismal, with the club losing five of their last six games, compounded by a poor 2-1 home defeat to Southampton. In addition, Everton were also knocked out of the FA Cup in January.
Everton fans appear to be losing patience with Lamps, and it is understood that the club's owners are considering a rapid change before the club's next game.
According to the Daily Mail, this weekend could spell the end for either Moyes or Lampard, in a game being labelled "El Sackico" due to the club's awful recent form.
Lampard had hoped to get his side's fortunes back on track with a draw against Man City on New Years Day, but bad luck and continued defeats has staggered the club's turnaround.
