Chelsea agree deal to sign Noni Madueke

Chelsea have reached a verbal agreement with PSV Eindhoven to sign winger Noni Madueke, according to Eindhovens Dagblad.

The Blues have had another huge spending spree in the current transfer window and they have now secured the services of Madueke.

PSV were initially reluctant to part ways with the young winger, but have eventually accepted a package of around £31 million.

The former Tottenham youngster has now been allowed to travel to London for his medical and a transfer could be done tomorrow.

The Blues need to register him by 12 pm GMT on Friday afternoon in order for him to make the squad against Liverpool on Saturday.

The west London giants have been in dreadful form in the past few months and need a huge turnaround to qualify for the Champions League.

They are currently 10 points behind the top four and will need to start winning regularly to stand any chance of closing the deficit.

Chelsea face a tough challenge against Liverpool on the road this weekend.
