Chelsea set to end interest in Moises Caicedo?

Chelsea could end their interest in signing Arsenal target Moises Caicedo amid their fresh pursuit of Enzo Fernandez.
The Blues recently made a bid of around £55m for the Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder, but the proposal was immediately snubbed.
The London giants have now revived their interest in Fernandez. They are ready to pay his £105m release clause in four installments.
As a result, they appear to have ended their pursuit of Caicedo and this should provide a huge boost to the Gunners in signing him this month.
Mikel Arteta's side are desperate for a new holding midfield to keep their title hopes alive. Caicedo has been earmarked as the number one option.
Caicedo has already given the green light for the transfer, but the Gunners still need to convince Brighton into doing business before the deadline.
Brighton are said to be eyeing around £80-90m for the 21-year-old, who was signed for just £5m from Independiente del Valle in February 2021.
