Arsenal sign Chelsea midfielder Jorginho
Arsenal have successfully completed the signing of Chelsea midfielder Jorginho.
The Gunners were heavily interested in landing Moises Caicedo from Brighton & Hove Albion last week, but they have given up.
The Seagulls have made it clear that the Eduadorian won't be leaving this month and Arsenal have now made the decision to sign Jorginho.
The Italian star has already completed his medical tests and photoshoot with the Gunners and he is set to be presented by the club this evening.
Jorginho becomes the Gunners' third signing of the winter transfer window following the arrivals of Leandro Trossard and Jakub Kiwior.
He should provide the much-needed back-up behind Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey, now that Mohamed Elneny is out with a serious injury.
Meanwhile, Albert Sambi Lokonga is currently on the cusp of securing a loan move to Crystal Palace. He is undergoing his medical with them.
Lokonga will join the Eagles on a dry loan without a buy option.
