Leandro Trossard reacts after Arsenal draw vs Brentford

Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard has expressed his disappointment following the club's 1-1 Premier League draw against Brentford.

The Belgian star gave the Gunners the lead shortly after the hour mark but the Bees responded with the equaliser through Ivan Toney.

The Gunners could not find the winner thereafter and Trossard has now acknowledged that the result is a tough one to take.

He said: "I think overall we played well. In the first half they had some chances but in the second half we came more into the game, and obviously we scored that goal and then it’s a tough one to take when they scored the equaliser."

The Gunners had the vast share of possession against the Bees at the Emirates Stadium, but they could have easily lost the game.

Toney had two chances before his goal to find the back of the net and things could have paved differently for the Gunners on another day.

Hence, it can be considered as a point gained. The club are now six points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League.
