Arsenal pushing to sign Brazilian Luis Suarez?

Arsenal are reportedly determined to sign Athletico PR striker Vitor Roque during the summer transfer window.

The Gunners are on the hunt for quality young recruits and Roque has emerged as a leading target for them.

The 17-year-old was superb for the Brazil Under 20s lately and Arsenal are now pushing for his services.

Edu Gaspar has already spoken with the player's agents and the club are expected to proceed with a bid.

They are unlikely to meet the €60m release clause for Roque but will instead look to negotiate staggered payments.

It will be interesting to see whether Athletico PR are interested in such an agreement for the teenage sensation.

Roque, who can also play on the right wing, has also been on the radar of Barcelona over the past few weeks.
