Sabitzer set for Man Utd stay?

Manchester United are ready to consider a permanent deal for midfielder Marcel Sabitzer at the end of the campaign.

The Austrian joined the Red Devils on loan from Bayern Munich on deadline day last month and he has already made three appearances.

He produced his best performance in the 2-0 win at Leeds on Sunday and the hierarchy are already considering his permanent transfer.

Bayern were reluctant to sell him last month, but they are likely to open the door for his departure at the right price this summer.

Sabitzer is likely to be an assured starter for United in the coming months, given Christian Eriksen is out with a serious injury.

If he can continue to impress manager Erik ten Hag, there is a strong possibility that United will be convinced to re-sign him.

Aside from Sabitzer, Ten Hag is also open to the prospect of keeping striker Wout Weghorst if he can make a strong impression as well.
