Arsenal to swoop for 20-year-old Atalanta striker
Arsenal are reportedly keen on landing Atalanta's talented young striker Rasmus Hojlund this summer.
The Gunners currently have Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah as the regulars up front, but neither have been clinical enough.
Folarin Balogun has been impressive out on loan at Reims, but he still has a lot to prove when he returns to the Premier League.
Amidst this, La Repubblica report that the Gunners are keen on landing Hojlund, who has been tremendous in 2023.
The Dane has been compared to Erling Haaland for his playing style and he has made six goal contributions since January.
His pace, physique and finishing skills have also caught the eye of Real Madrid. Hence, Arsenal face stiff competition.
Atalanta purchased him from Sturm Graz for just €17m last summer, but they are set to demand around €50m for his exit.
The Gunners may need to offload either Nketiah or Balogun before they make an approach for the highly-rated Dane.
