Graham Potter makes transfer decision on Romelu Lukaku
Chelsea manager Graham Potter is not enthusiastic about working with Romelu Lukaku next season, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Belgium international had a difficult 2021/22 campaign with the Blues, scoring just 15 goals across all competitions.
After a fall-out with then-manager Thomas Tuchel, he was loaned back to Inter last summer without an option to buy.
It is now reported that Chelsea are planning to sell Lukaku following the completion of his season-long loan with Inter.
Potter is not enthusiastic over working with Lukaku while Chelsea's owners share the same opinion on the ex-Everton man.
Lukaku pushed for a loan exit after speaking with co-owner Todd Boehly last summer. The club are now eyeing his sale.
It will be interesting to see whether Inter will consider re-signing him on a permanent basis in the next transfer window.
Lukaku has had an injury-plagued season with just four goals but he is valued highly by the backroom staff at Inter.
Chelsea are set to make a huge loss on the striker as they are unlikely to recoup the £97m paid to Inter two years ago.
