Arsenal plan to sell two loan stars this summer
Arsenal are prepared to part ways with Albert Sambi Lokonga and Nuno Tavares following their temporary deals.
Tavares joined Marseille on a season-long loan last summer and he has been hugely impressive for the Ligue 1 giants.
The 23-year-old has registered six goals from 29 appearances for Les Phoceens, playing in the left wing-back role.
Meanwhile, Lokonga was loaned out to Crystal Palace in January and the Belgian has been a regular starter in their midfield.
It is now reported by The Times that manager Mikel Arteta is prepared to offload Lokonga and Tavares during the summer.
The Gunners boss is planning a huge spending spree in the next transfer window as the club prepare to return to the Champions League.
Arsenal are currently 19 points ahead of fifth-placed Newcastle United and are almost guaranteed their return to the European competition.
The London giants are likely to make multiple signings this summer and this could include a couple of marquee midfielders.
