Man Utd to miss out on Harry Kane this summer?

Manchester United could miss out on Harry Kane this summer as Tottenham Hotspur have no plans to sell him.

The England international has had another top season with Spurs, scoring 22 goals and providing four assists in all competitions.

Despite his efforts, Spurs are set to go trophyless again and this has led to suggestions that he could move on during the summer.

However, according to The Athletic, it is revealed that Spurs are in talks with Kane over extending his contract expiring in June 2024.

It is added that the north London giants are not contemplating the prospect of selling him and could keep him next season as well.

Hence, United could miss out on signing the 29-year-old in the next transfer window and may have to wait another 12 months to land him.

It remains to be seen whether manager Erik ten Hag will have the patience. He is desperate for a marquee striker to be signed as soon as possible.
