Manchester United are attentive over Sporting Lisbon defender Goncalo Inacio ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils are likely to reinforce their central defensive department ahead of next season, considering Harry Maguire could leave.
A number of players have been linked in recent months, but O Jogo claim that Inacio is one of the prime targets for Erik ten Hag's side.
Inacio is a left-footed centre-back by trade and he could be seen as a potential competitor and back-up option to Lisandro Martinez.
The 21-year-old has been superb with his distribution, tackling and ability to make clearances and would suit Ten Hag's tactical system.
Sporting have not set any price for their prized asset, but he could leave this summer if the €45 million release clause in his contract is triggered.
Newcastle United are also firm admirers of the young central defender, but it has been claimed that he has no plans of joining them this summer.
