Man Utd duo doubtful to face Sevilla on Thursday

Manchester United duo Marcus Rashford and Luke Shaw are deemed doubtful to face Sevilla in the Europa League on Thursday.

The Red Devils entertain the La Liga outfit in the first leg of the quarter-final tie and ahead of the game, there is mixed news on the injury front.

Shaw picked up a hamstring injury against Brentford last week while Rashford was forced off with a groin problem versus Everton.

Both players are now doubtful for the European encounter and there is a high possibility that they may not be involved at all.

In the absence of Shaw, Tyrell Malacia is expected to start for the second game. He has fared well with his strong defensive skills.

Meanwhile, Anthony Martial could make his first start for the Red Devils since returning to full fitness following a hip problem.

The Frenchman scored in the 2-0 win over the Toffees at the weekend and he will be hoping to add to his tally against Sevilla.
