Inter Milan make buy decision on Romelu Lukaku
Inter Milan have decided against signing Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku on a permanent basis this summer.
The Belgian rejoined the Nerazzurri on loan last summer but he has barely impressed over the course of the campaign.
The striker has struggled with injury concerns and he has scored just seven goals from 24 appearances in all competitions.
It is now reported that the Serie A giants have no plans to discuss a permanent move and Lukaku will return to Stamford Bridge.
The Nerazzurri are currently going through financial problems and they may need to offload a couple of first-team regulars.
With this in mind, they are not in a position to spend big to re-sign Lukaku, who has struggled in his homecoming season.
The likes of Andre Onana and Lautaro Martinez could be sold for the right price when the transfer window reopens.
Onana is on the radar of United and Chelsea while Martinez has been linked with a switch to Tottenham Hotspur lately.
