Mateo Kovacic prepared to leave Chelsea this summer
Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic is prepared to pursue a fresh challenge at the end of the campaign.
The Croatian has been a key player for the Blues in midfield but there have been no talks over a renewal.
His current contract expires in June next year and Sport1 claim that he is weighing up a possible exit.
It is added that the former Real Madrid man could reunite with Thomas Tuchel, who is currently Bayern's manager.
The German giants are set to sign Konrad Laimer on a free transfer but Tuchel could still insist on signing Kovacic.
Aside from Kovacic, the Blues could also lose the services of Mason Mount during the next transfer window.
Mount's current deal expires next summer and he has turned down the proposal of a lengthy extension.
The Blues recently offered him an eight-year deal but Mount has no desire to commit for such a long period.
Mount may have already played his final game for Chelsea. He has just undergone a surgery for a pelvic issue.
