Chelsea to land Harry Kane ahead of Man Utd?

Chelsea have been backed to sign Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane ahead of Manchester United this summer.

The England international has been a fantastic performer for Spurs over the years but he has not won any piece of silverware.

He will enter the final year of his contract this summer and reports claim that he could pursue a bigger challenge away from Spurs.

United have been touted as favourites to sign him but Harry Redknapp believes Chelsea can't be ruled out of the pursuit.

Former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is set to take charge as Chelsea's next manager and this could boost the Blues' chances.

Redknapp feels Kane would prefer to stay in the English capital over moving north and he could reunite with Pochettino.

Kane has had another tremendous scoring campaign. He has netted 26 goals from 43 appearances in all competitions this term.

Despite his efforts, Spurs look set to miss out on Champions League football. This could urge him to move on this summer.
