Chelsea planning swoop for next Erling Haaland?
Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund who has been dubbed as the next Erling Haaland.
The Dane joined the Serie A outfit last summer and he has netted eight goals and provided three assists from 29 appearances.
His statistics are nowhere near world-class level but his playing style has already led to comparisons with Man City's Haaland.
Hojlund has been tremendous with his ability to win duels and he could become a potent striker in a couple of years' time.
It is now reported that Chelsea are in regular contact with Atalanta as they try and secure the services of the Denmark international.
The Serie A outfit are looking for around €50m to sanction his sale but the Blues are hopeful of negotiating a lesser fee up front.
Hojlund has also been linked with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United, but they have different priorities at the moment.
Arsenal are looking into the midfield department while United's prime focus for the summer could be Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane.
