Chelsea favourites to sign Serie A goalkeeper

Chelsea are reportedly front-runners to sign Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana ahead of Manchester United this summer.

The Cameroonian star has been a fantastic performer for the Nerazzurri this campaign but they are prepared to sell him for a profit.

His situation has caught the eye of Chelsea and United and Gazzetta dello Sport claim that the Blues are leading the transfer pursuit.

The west London giants are desperately looking for a new shot-stopper with Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga failing to impress.

Talks have already started with Onana's entourage but it is now claimed that Inter have opened the door for his potential summer exit.

However, he won't come on the cheap with the Milan giants set to demand at least €50 million up front for the former Ajax keeper.

Manchester United are also keen on landing Onana in the summer, but a deal could largely depend on the future of David de Gea.

United are in discussions with De Gea over a renewal with a pay-cut. If the negotiations are successful, they may not seek another keeper.
