Bayern make Mateo Kovacic transfer decision

Bayern Munich have no plans of signing Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic during the summer transfer window.

The Croatian is set to enter the final year of his contract this summer and this has led to suggestions that he could be sold.

A reunion with Thomas Tuchel at Bayern has been touted but Plettenberg has clarified that is unlikely to be the case.

The German champions already have an agreement to land Konrad Laimer on a free transfer to bolster their midfield.

Hence, they have no plans to pursue a deal for Kovacic and their main priority for the summer is on landing a striker.
