Chelsea join Arsenal in race to sign Wilfried Zaha
Chelsea are set to compete with Arsenal in the race to sign Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha this summer.
The Ivory Coast international has entered the final two months of his Palace deal and he has no plans to renew.
Zaha has been committed to the South Coast outfit for many years but he is now eyeing a bigger challenge elsewhere.
The winger is said to be eyeing Champions League football and Arsenal have been touted to make a contract offer.
However, according to The Mail, Chelsea are also in the running to land the attacker and talks could be initiated soon.
The west London giants are likely to offload several players in the next transfer window in order to recoup funds.
They are said to value the experience of Zaha in the Premier League but the big question is whether he will join them.
With interest from Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, he could snub the approach from the Blues.
Chelsea are currently 12th in the Premier League and have already missed out on a spot in next season's Champions League.
