Chelsea want Serie A star as their next goalkeeper
Chelsea have earmarked Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana as their future number one, according to The Telegraph.
The west London giants have had a dreadful Premier League campaign and they are expected to offload multiple players.
Among those, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy could make way and The Telegraph claim that Onana is being eyed.
The Blues have been long-term admirers of the Cameroonian star and they are prepared to step up their transfer pursuit.
Inter Milan signed him on a free transfer from Ajax and it is reported that they could cash in for a huge profit this summer.
A £40 million package could be sufficient to convince the Nerazzurri to part ways with the 27-year-old in the next transfer window.
Manchester United have also been credited with an interest in Onana, but they are prioritising contract talks with David de Gea.
The Red Devils may only enter the race for the former Ajax man if De Gea rejects to extend his stay by accepting a pay-cut.
