Man Utd and Chelsea handed striker transfer blow

Manchester United and Chelsea have been handed a big blow in signing Napoli striker Victor Osimhen this summer.

The Nigerian has been in tremendous form for the Serie A outfit this term, bagging 27 goals from just 34 appearances.

His progress has caught the eye of United and Chelsea but it seems he may not be going anywhere ahead of next season.

In an interview with Rai Sport yesterday, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis made it clear that he is not for sale.

De Laurentiis has been a tough negotiator over the years and he is someone who does not change his stance regularly.

Hence, United and Chelsea look likely to miss out on Osimhen. They may have to look elsewhere to bolster their squad.

Apart from Osimhen, the Premier League giants have been linked with Harry Kane and Kolo Muani in recent weeks.

Goncalo Ramos is another striker that could attract interest from the duo heading into the summer transfer window.
