Arsenal tipped to sign USA star this summer

Arsenal could make an approach to sign Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams during the summer transfer window.

The Gunners are expected to land a new defensive midfielder this summer and Declan Rice is the main target for them.

However, they could also look at alternative options and Givemesport cite that Adams could be on their radar as well.

The USA star was watched by Gunners scouts during his time at Leipzig but he eventually made the move to Leeds.

With the Yorkshire outfit on the verge of relegation, Adams could realistically contemplate a new challenge very soon.

As per reports, Arsenal and Newcastle United could be contenders to land him if Leeds fail to beat the Premier League drop.

The Gunners are currently one point behind Manchester City in the league table but the latter have a game in hand as well.

Hence, the London giants no longer have their title destiny in their hands and need help from outside to lift the English crown.
