Erik ten Hag gives green light to sign Everton star?
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has reportedly given the green light to sign Everton midfielder Amadou Onana.
The Belgium international joined the Toffees from Lille last summer and he has been one of their leading performers.
He has impressed with his defensive contributions and distribution and could pursue a bigger challenge in the summer.
Onana is currently valued at around £50 million and Football Insider claim that Ten Hag has given green light to a transfer.
The Red Devils won't be alone in the pursuit of the midfielder and they could face competition from Arsenal and Chelsea.
Onana was the subject of interest from the London clubs in January but the Toffees had no plans of parting ways with him.
The youngster was also happy to continue with the club amid their relegation battle but should move on this summer.
West Ham United have also been firm admirers of the midfielder but Onana is likely to give preference to bigger English clubs.
