Ramsdale pens new Arsenal deal

Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has put pen-to-paper on a new long-term contract with the club.

The England international has been a mainstay in the starting XI since his arrival from Sheffield United two years ago.

He has produced several stand-out performances during his time and the club have now rewarded him with a new contract.

Ramsdale has signed an improved deal until the summer of 2026. The Gunners will have the option to extend for a year.

Aside from Ramsdale, Bukayo Saka has also agreed terms over a new bumper deal and an announcement is expected soon.

Meanwhile, the club have yet to find an agreement with William Saliba but they are optimistic of agreeing terms by the summer.

Saliba will enter the final year of his contract in July and the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are monitoring him.

Arsenal have another two games left in the Premier League campaign. They can end the season with a maximum tally of 87 points.
