Man Utd in direct talks to sign World Cup finalist
Manchester United are reportedly in direct negotiations to sign Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot on a free transfer.
The France international came close to joining the Red Devils last summer but a move broke down over personal terms.
The midfielder has since enjoyed a superb season on a personal level and he is now back on the radar of United, as per Calciomercato.
The Italian source claim that there has been direct contact with the player but United are not the only club interested in him.
A number of other Premier League teams including Newcastle United, Chelsea and Arsenal are keen on securing his services.
Rabiot is expected to decide his future once the season concludes. He is likely to prioritise a move to the Premier League.
It remains to be seen whether United can agree terms with him. They were reluctant to pay him around €165,000-a-week last year.
He could possibly demand a higher package this time around, considering there is no transfer fee involved to land his signature.
