Joao Felix makes Newcastle transfer decision

Chelsea loanee Joao Felix has dismissed speculation linking him with a move to Newcastle United this summer.

The Portuguese joined the Blues from Atletico Madrid on loan in January. He has netted just three goals so far.

He is due to return to Madrid at the end of the campaign but reports claim that he could come back to England.

Chelsea are exploring another loan deal for him but it has been claimed that Newcastle United are also keen.

The Magpies are open to a permanent transfer but Felix has laughed off the speculation through social media.

Atletico Madrid have yet to open talks with interested clubs but Chelsea are hopeful of re-signing the Portuguese.

The Blues are prepared to include an option to buy for the attacker, provided certain conditions are met.

Meanwhile, Arsenal and Manchester United are also long-term admirers but they are yet to make a fresh move for him.

The duo were interested in him before his loan switch to Chelsea.
