Man Utd enter race to sign new Erling Haaland
Manchester United have reportedly joined Chelsea in the race to sign Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund this summer.
The Danish striker has made only 12 goal contributions in his debut season at Atalanta, but he has built his reputation.
The left-footed star has caught the eye with his aerial presence, duel winning ability and impressive vision in the box.
Chelsea have already opened talks with Atalanta over a permanent deal but The Mail claim that United are also keen.
The Red Devils have spoken internally about the highly-rated striker, though they have yet to make contact with Atalanta.
Atalanta are currently not looking to part ways with the striker but the scenario could change ahead of the summer.
They purchased him from Sturm Graz for £15 million and reports claim that he could be sold for a fee of around £60 million.
Aside from the duo, Arsenal have also been credited with an interest in signing Hojlund, who has been dubbed as the new Erling Haaland.
