Chelsea quoted price to sign Moises Caicedo
Chelsea will reportedly have to pay £100 million to sign Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo this summer.
The west London giants were recently keen on signing Manuel Ugarte from Sporting, but he has decided to join Paris Saint-Germain.
Irrespective of this, the Blues have been planning an approach for Caicedo, but it appears the Seagulls won't sell him on the cheap.
The Blues failed with a £55 million bid for Caicedo in January, and it is now reported that Brighton are looking for around £100m.
Caicedo put pen-to-paper on a new long-term deal earlier this year, and the Seagulls are now prepared to get the best price for him.
Aside from the Blues, Arsenal are also interested in the Ecuadorian star, but their main priority for the summer is West Ham's Declan Rice.
The Gunners have not ruled out purchasing two midfielders this summer, but that could depend on a couple of players leaving the club.
Granit Xhaka looks set to depart for Bayer Leverkusen while Thomas Partey has also been linked with a possible summer departure.
