Man Utd set sights on signing Bundesliga winner
Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka this summer.
The Red Devils are aiming to strengthen their midfield department ahead of next season, and they are looking at different names.
Chelsea's Mason Mount is the main transfer target, but Florian Plettenberg claims that they are also keeping tabs on Goretzka.
The former Schalke man has been a vital player for the Bavarian giants and he is currently contracted to them until June 2026.
However, his future has become a topic of speculation amid claims that Bayern are looking to bring Declan Rice from West Ham.
Goretzka is clearly committed to the Munich outfit, but his stance could change in the coming weeks if Bayern pursue Rice.
United are no strangers to landing experienced stars. They signed Casemiro and Christian Eriksen at the beginning of last season.
Goretzka would add more quality and experience in the squad as they look to close the gap on the title contenders next term.
