Man Utd suffer fresh setback in striker pursuit

Manchester United have suffered a fresh setback in the pursuit of a new striker during the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils were interested in signing Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur earlier this month, but were put off by the £100 million price tag.
As a result, they turned their attention towards signing Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta, but it seems the Serie A outfit won't sell him on the cheap either.
The Bergamo side have set a staggering £86m price tag on Hojlund's head, and they don't plan to sell him for anything less this summer.
The Dane has yet to find the consistency with his goalscoring, but his playing style has been likened to Man City's Erling Haaland.
Atalanta clearly believe he can reach those heights and they are prepared to keep him next season unless their asking price is met in full.
It is highly unlikely that United will pay the fee, considering they are working on a limited budget before player sales this summer.
