Arsenal expected to make second Kai Havertz bid

Arsenal are expected to make a fresh bid to sign Chelsea midfielder Kai Havertz, according to The Telegraph

Their opening offer of £45 million was below the Blues' £75m price tag, but a fresh offer is expected from them soon.

The Gunners are planning to propose £60m including add-ons for Havertz, and should be optimistic of striking a move.

Chelsea are currently desperate to balance their financial books before June 30 and are looking for multiple player sales.

Havertz is one of those that could bring plenty of funds, and the Blues are likely to loosen their stance in the coming weeks.

The Blues could end up accepting the Gunners' next proposal for Havertz, who has revealed his desire to leave the club.

He has already agreed personal terms with the Gunners and a transfer could be a formality once the fee is finalised.
