Arsenal already planning for fourth summer signing?
Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Sporting Lisbon defender Goncalo Inacio this summer.
The Gunners have already landed the signature of Kai Havertz from Chelsea while Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber are expected to join from West Ham United and Ajax respectively.
Inacio is the next player on their radar, according to Correio da Manha. The Portuguese publication claim that the Gunners have been handed a boost with Sporting ready to negotiate.
In the past, the club were reluctant to accept anything less than his €45m release clause, but they are now prepared to negotiate a fixed transfer fee alongside performance add-ons.
In that way, Arsenal won't need to make a one-time payment and they have the luxury of discussing a long-term payment package for the highly-rated Portuguese defender.
Inacio has also been linked with the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle United and Manchester United, but the Gunners now seem to be leading the race to secure his services.
